Skuare Hair Boutique is not only a dream come true, it was also a leap of faith.
Transitioning from being a hairstylist to a business owner, I found myself at the foot of a steep learning curve.
Besides leaving the security of employment, I had to navigate tense discussions with leasing agents, source for the right products, search for the best stylists to work with me and plan the interior of my salon.
Even with uncertainty looming over my head and wondering if my unknown salon would have the chance to flourish in a Phase 2 economy post-CB, I took the plunge and secured 109 Jalan Besar for my business.
Nobody achieves anything by staying in the comfort zone, right? This is the challenge that I’ve undertaken and I will continue learning to grow into it.
Alhamdulillah! I’m lucky to have found the right people in my path to work with me. And I’m thankful to clients, family and friends who have shown so much love and support. My gratitude for all of you coming here to do your hair, giving gifts, sharing about @skuarehairboutique with your own circle, and even those of you who came by just to say Hello and Congratulations.
